This is my personal list of 80 cafes on the Gold Coast to try this year. I’m starting a project where each week, I’ll have an artist date with myself to catch up with my travel journals and practice urban sketches.

This is a practice I started last year, but over the weeks I stopped doing it… But now, because this is our last year on the Gold Coast before starting the Australia Big Lap, it’s my last chance to visit these places.

There are so many different cafes on the Gold Coast and I want to try them all (or most of them at least.)

So I made a list of 80 different places to visit, and I’ll make a vlog for my YouTube channel documenting each of these solo dates.

Some of these cafes I’ve been many times before, and some as totally new for me, so this will be exciting to try new places and have all these experiences documented for my Future Self.

The criteria for choosing these places was pretty much: either a pretty environment, or have a nice view.

I’ll share the list in case more people want to try different places, and also it’s a way for me to keep track of where I’m going. As I go over the weeks, I’ll come back here to update this post and include the links to each vlog.

I know these are not all the cafes on the Gold Coast, but it’s a good place to start.

Also I have to remind myself that the year only has 52 weeks haha so I know I’ll have to leave some of these places out of this project (at least for now, or go to more than once place in a week haha).
