Thanks for popping by.
I’m Ka Pok, the face behind Colourful Ka.
Ka is how I like to be called by my friends (or by everyone actually) and it means “soul” in Egypt.
Colourful Ka inspires people to connect with the colours of their soul! 🌈✨
Being a self-taught artist, I’ve been painting since I was a kid. For me, art is a way to give form to the whispers of the soul.
In 2015 I sold everything I had in Brazil to a fresh new start in Australia. 10 years later and with my citizenship in hand, I now call this country my home.
I created my first blog in 2001, when I was only 10 years old. I have always loved sharing my life in the digital world, and this blog is like my second home.
you already know I’m a creative person, but here are some other stuff about me…

This is my husband David and our dog Bowie. Together we are always looking for new adventures around Australia.
In 2016, David and I bought a 1984 campervan and went for our first trip around Australia. We spent 6 months living in the van and explored most of the east coast, from Townsville to Tasmania and also Uluru.
I created my first blog when I was only 10 years old. At that time it was just my personal diary, posting about my favorite cartoons! This is me as a Girl Scout (that’s when I started to like camping)
Spent an entire year studying photography and did a few jobs photographing weddings, couples and dogs!
30 days backpacking in Peru, Bolivia and Chile. In this year I also graduated as an Interior Designer
I started to paint Mandalas. This was my first one
A dream came true: we arrived in Australia on 04th of April 2015
Another dream came true: we bought a van! Her name is Feather and she’s a 1984 Toyota.
We spent 6 months living in the van and traveled from the Sunshine Coast to Tasmania.
I started teaching workshops to inspire people to write their bucket list and make their dreams come true!
We went to Uluru
We adopted Bowie!
Another roadtrip, this time to North Queensland. We went from Gold Coast to Townsville and this was Bowie’s first trip with us!
That same year, we became Australian citizens!
The year we went to Japan, the most incredible trip of our lives!
